Itinerary
This full-day guided tour to Ouarzazate and its spectacular kasbahs offers a perfect opportunity to experience the beauty and heritage of southern Morocco. Travel across the majestic Atlas Mountains, taking in breathtaking views and dramatic canyons along the way.
Your private adventure begins with a 7:30 AM pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Accompanied by a professional guide, you’ll learn about Morocco’s rich history and its role in the global film industry.
After approximately four hours, you’ll arrive at the stunning Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy. Here, a local guide will lead you on a walking tour through this historic fortified village.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert.” You’ll visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and have the chance to stop by the renowned Atlas Film Studios, the largest in Morocco. There will be time for photos before heading back to Marrakech.
You’ll return to your hotel or riad around 7:00 PM, concluding a day full of discovery and unforgettable landscapes.
