Day 1
Arrival to Casablanca
We will pick you up from the airport, the port, or your accommodation in Casablanca. Casablanca is Morocco’s economic center and also its largest city. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country, located on the city’s western coastline.
It stands on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
You will then have free time for lunch. After that, we’ll explore the city and visit the beautiful Casablanca Corniche.
Finally, we will spend the night in a Riad/Hotel.
Day 2
Casablanca – The Roman ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
Day 3
Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara
We begin our day with breakfast, and later we’ll head south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, a city known for its chilly climate, snowfall, and charming alpine-style houses. It’s often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco — and for good reason.
Next, we continue to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. You can enjoy a peaceful walk among the trees and even feed the monkeys if you wish.
Afterwards, we drive to Midelt, where you’ll have some free time for lunch.
The journey then continues through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt mountain pass and along the Ziz Valley, with scenic stops to take in the breathtaking views.
In the afternoon, we reach the vast Sahara Desert near Merzouga. Here, you’ll switch to camels and begin a ride across the golden dunes. We’ll pause on top of a high dune to admire the magical desert sunset.
Finally, we arrive at our desert camp — a perfect blend of traditional nomadic tents and modern comfort. As night falls, enjoy the rhythm of Berber drums, dance around the campfire, and relax under a sky filled with stars. We’ll have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.
Day 4
Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Waking up early in the morning is a must to witness the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. After that, you’ll have some free time for breakfast. Then, you’ll return to Merzouga by camel, where your driver will be waiting. We’ll then leave the desert behind and head to the town of Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important trading center in the region.
After a stroll through the Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud, where we’ll visit one of the fossilized marble workshops. Then we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges. The Todra River has carved a spectacular red cliff-sided canyon through the mountains. These gorges are an ideal destination for rock climbers.
Feel free to wander through the gorges and take in the beauty of the landscape. Enjoy some free time for lunch at a local restaurant. We then continue to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we’ll make inevitable stops at the famous ‘Monkey Fingers’ rock formation and for a panoramic view of the Dades Valley. Finally, dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 5
Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Finally, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna, to visit the Roses Valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate. Where we’ll visit the studios, in which famous movies were shot.
We depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy… etc.
And TV series including Game Of Thrones. Then we continue to Marrakech, by driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, and the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch, and to take pictures at interesting spots.
