Itinerary

This excursion to Essaouira departs from Marrakech at an agreed meeting point, such as the door of your accommodation. We recommend meeting at 7:30 AM to make the most of the journey and the visit at the destination, although this time can be adjusted depending on the group’s needs.

Along the way, we will pass through vast Argan forests, where the precious Argan oil is extracted. We can stop at one of the local cooperatives to observe the traditional production process, which currently focuses not only on food but also on cosmetics and alternative medicine. The estimated travel time without stops is about two and a half hours. However, since we will make this short stop, the total trip duration will be approximately three hours.

Therefore, the arrival in Essaouira is expected around 10:00 AM. Behind the walls of this town, which was once a Portuguese citadel called Mogador, lie many picturesque corners full of history. You will be able to explore them on your own once you arrive, or by participating in one of the organized activities mentioned below.

At approximately 3:30 PM, or at an agreed time, we will meet again to return to Marrakech. The return trip will be without stops and takes about two and a half hours, arriving in the Red City around 6:00 PM.
