RUTAS DESDE TANGER

tour 7 days From Tangier

Protecting the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier has for centuries been Europe's gateway to Africa. Its mix of cultures and influences is unique in Morocco, for much of its history it was not even ruled by Morocco.

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Meeting to begin our journey driving to where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. The cape more northwest of Africa, Cabo Spartel, is a dramatic and fertile point, and was known by the Greeks and Romans as the “Cape of the Vineyards.” A few kilometers along the coast, The Caves of Hercules are something like a symbol of Tangier, with its strange window to the sea, shaped like a map of Africa. The name, like the legendary foundation of Hercules of Tangier, is pure fantasy, but the caves, 16 km from the city and on the Atlantic coast, make this an attractive excursion. Our itinerary continues through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen via Tetuán. We will spend the night in a Riad in the Medina of the blue city (walled city).

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fez

After breakfast in your Riad, free morning to explore the Medina of Chefchaouen; a beautiful city, unique with its white walls and blue doors and windows.
