Day 1

Arrival to Tangier – Chefchaouen

On the first day of your 10-day Morocco holiday from Tangier, we will pick you up from your accommodation, the airport, or the port in Tangier — also known as “The Bride of the North.” This city is located in the northwest of Morocco, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Spartel.

We will begin by exploring the city, including a visit to the famous Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. After some free time for lunch, we’ll head inland towards Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the scenic Rif Mountains. We’ll make several stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views.

Finally, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation in Chefchaouen, where you’ll spend the night in a Riad/hotel.

Day 2

Sightseeing Chefchaouen the Blue City

On the first day of your 10-day Morocco holiday from Tangier, we will pick you up from your accommodation, the airport, or the port in Tangier — also known as “The Bride of the North.” This city is located in the northwest of Morocco, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean at Cape Spartel.

We will begin by exploring the city, including a visit to the famous Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. After some free time for lunch, we’ll head inland towards Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the scenic Rif Mountains. We’ll make several stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views.

Finally, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation in Chefchaouen, where you’ll spend the night in a Riad/hotel.

Day 3

Chefchaouen – the Roman ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, feel free to wander in the beautiful alleyways of the blue city Chefchaouen. Then we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with beautiful ancient pillars and archways. After strolling in the ruins, we drive 30 km to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes the Ismaili capital. In which we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we head to Fez. There you’ll pass the night in a comfortable Riad

Day 4

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Fez to explore the city. Fez is one of Morocco’s imperial cities and is considered the cultural and religious capital of the country.

We begin the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then, we head to the well-preserved medieval Medina, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Blue Gate, or Bab Boujloud, is the main entrance to the old Medina.

You’ll enter the Medina with a local guide to visit several historical sites: the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, the tanneries, and finally the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University — the oldest university in the world.

Afterward, we leave the Medina to visit the Jewish Quarter, known as “the Mellah.” Then we drive to an ancient fortress that offers panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes.

Finally, we return to your Riad for the night.

Day 5

Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, your 10-day Morocco holiday continues south through Imouzzer. We visit Ifrane, known for its low temperatures, snow, and alpine-style architecture. It’s no surprise that it’s called the “Switzerland of Morocco.”

We then continue to the Cedar Forest, home to the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed them while wandering through the forest. Later, we continue to Midelt, where you’ll have free time for lunch. Afterward, we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and along the scenic Ziz Valley, with several stops for panoramic views.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. There, you’ll switch to camels and cross the golden sand dunes, stopping on a high dune to enjoy the magical sunset. Then, continue to the desert camp — a blend of traditional nomadic tents and hotel-like comfort — where you can enjoy Berber drum music and dance around the campfire under a vast, starry sky.

Day 6

Explore the Merzouga Region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga Lake – Erg Chebbi – Palm Grove

After breakfast, we dedicate the day to exploring the Merzouga region. This area is full of incredible sites — from sand dunes and a wild lake to mines, fossil zones, and beautiful oases — ideal for many outdoor activities.

We start our journey by going off-road to visit an ancient kohl (eyeliner) mine. Then, we visit a nomadic family in their handmade woven tent and learn about their way of life while enjoying a glass of Berber tea.

Next, we head to the village of Khamlia, where you can enjoy traditional Gnawa music and dance performances. The residents here are originally from sub-Saharan countries such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. You’ll have free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterward, we take a walk through a palm grove, then drive a few kilometers to visit Merzouga’s wild lake, also known as the Lake of Flamingos. Finally, we return to Merzouga for dinner and an overnight stay in a Riad/hotel.

Day 7

Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Waking up early is a must to witness the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After some free time for breakfast, we leave the desert and head to Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important trading center in the region, with a bustling souk especially lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

After a short walk through the Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud, where we’ll visit one of the workshops specialized in fossilized marble.

Next, we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges. The Todra River has carved a spectacular canyon through the mountains. These towering red cliffs are a popular destination for rock climbers. You’ll have time to wander through the gorges and take in the breathtaking scenery. You´ll have free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

We then continue to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades, with must-see stops at the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the valley.

Finally, this day concludes with a dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 8

Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura Palm Groves – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Kalaat M’Gouna to visit the Rose Valley. Every May, the city hosts the Rose Festival, where locals present a variety of rose-based products, including perfumes, rose water, essential oils, and cosmetics.

We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the Amridil Kasbah. Next, we reach Ouarzazate, where we visit the film studios where many famous movies were shot, as well as the Taourirt Kasbah.

Our next stop is the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site has been featured in numerous films such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and in TV series like Game of Thrones.

Afterward, we visit the Kasbah of Telouet before continuing to Marrakech, driving through the Tizi n’Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop for lunch and take pictures at scenic viewpoints along the way.

You’ll spend the night in a Riad in Marrakech.

Day 9

Guided tour sightseeing Marrakesh

After a good breakfast, we’ll explore the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. The city is one of Morocco’s imperial cities, rich in history and culture.

The tour includes visits to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. You’ll also enjoy a stroll through the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Afterward, you’ll have free time for lunch near Jemaa El-Fna Square.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, followed by the beautiful Majorelle Garden. After the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your accommodation.

In the evening, feel free to wander through Jemaa El-Fna Square on your own.

Day 10

Casablanca Airport

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Depending on your flight time, we will drive to Casablanca. If time allows, we may visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the world.

Finally, we drop you off at Casablanca airport.
